  <description>&lt;p&gt;So first week is almost over...and I have to admit I am extremely, extremely excited at the results so far (And I haven&apos;t even seen any muscle growth!)&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the last 3 days my highest tested gluclose levels have been 11.3 (remember American kiddies, you have to times that by 18 to get your results).&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have been seeing a crap load of 5 and 6s...even been totally back on the ball on taking Insulin and testing (Yeah I&apos;ve been slacking lately...) so maybe that totally has to do with it...but whatever it is...as long as I&apos;m doing what I should and seeing good numbers its not a bad thing is it?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Still trying to totally work out the details of a diet...have been making sure I eat every 2-3 hours and upped my Protein intake...but we&apos;ll see what happens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;5 in the Evening...have ate 4 out of 6 meals for today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&apos;ve decided to modify my meal plan a wee bit.&amp;nbsp; Instead of suddenly jumping up to the full Caloric Intake I need, I&apos;m going to go low a bit for the beginning to help my body lose the extra fat I&apos;m carrying, plus to try to avoid any shocks to the system...which is good cause I feel fairly bloated right now...&amp;nbsp; We&apos;ll see how that changes in the next 3 hours once I go work out and come back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So we&apos;ll see how things go...plan on taking the Underwear shots/Measurements tonight...so hide the women and children now.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;I get to play Science Experiments on MAHSELF!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Insulin as I do more digging I realize actually does a lot more then just deliver carbs to your body.&amp;nbsp; It also carries a whole bunch of other hormones and crap...some of which are important for muscle growth...so I need to figure out exactly when insulin is needed to help grow muscle...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&apos;m kinda hoping my basal doses will provide enough for that, with the extra boosts at meal times (I am slowly realizing I REALLY REALLY REALLY, like a lot, REALLY, REALLY, want an Insulin Pump.&amp;nbsp; 8 Insulin shots a day AT LEAST is going to be fun (Sarcasm detectors are detecting sarcasm)...while with the Insulin pump its 1 every 3 days...much bettah no?)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Obviously more resarch is needed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

  <title>The plan of attack!</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;So yeah...this is my plan of attack for making me super buff...well not really...but the first focus is the first three months...I need to go get my A1C (For you none-diabetics thats your three month average of your blood sugar levels.)&amp;nbsp; Also because I&apos;m Canadian all Blood Sugar levels etc will be expressed in the metric format...dunno what that means really...but my numbers will seem like ZOMG you should be in Coma low. (4-7 is our ideal range...)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;CHEAT SHEET&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To go from my Candian Numbers to American simply multiply by 18.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I need to divide your numbers by 18.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Simple...unlike temperatures...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So yeah first off is food...food is very evil, but very good.&amp;nbsp; So the first thing I need to do is really increase my number of meals from 3 to 6 a day...this way in theory if I&apos;m eating every 2-3 hours, my body won&apos;t horde food as much...now this doesn&apos;t mean I eat two breakfasts in a day...I eat half a breakfast at 7 or 8 (Gawd...I&apos;m going to have to get up early.) then again at around 10,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So meal times are going to be like 7, 10, 1, 3, 6, 8...&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So what will I be eating...well everything I have read says for every pound of body weight I have if I want to build muscle I need a gram of protein...the sticker here is some say thats lean bodymass (So muscle, bone, guts, and essential fat), others say its total...seems for me thats either 180 lbs, or 210 (Current), I am going to say I will go for the 180 mark...simply cause its less food which will help with weight loss...will re-evaluate later.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So that means I need to eat 180 grams of Protein a day...but that doesn&apos;t mean for breakfast I&apos;ll wake up and eat just 80 grams of eggs...I needs Carbs and fat too (Fat is important...)&amp;nbsp; the overwhelming proportion seems to be a meal should be 40:40:20 Protein:Carbs:Fat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So thats easy, 180 grams of Protein a day, 6 meals, thats 30 grams of Protein a meal, 30 grams of Carbs, and 15 grams of fat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;((Goes back and checks stuff...is it grams or ounces....it is grams...you silly Americans should start using metric...would save us all trouble.))&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And have to revise the MATH again...not supposed to add fat into the equation...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So 210 lbs - 20% (Current Body fat) = 168 * 1.5 ounces = 252 / 6 = 42 grams of protein with every meal.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So for example a perfect breakfast (42 grams of Carbs and Protein, and 21 grams of fat)&lt;br /&gt;Glass of milk, peice of toast, and 5 eggs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Or thats a sandwich...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So yeah I&apos;m excited ^^&lt;/p&gt;</description>
